FIRST EDITION, faint handling mark to fore-margin of final text-page, pp. 99, crown 8vo, original blue cloth, lettered in gilt to front and backstrip, touch of rubbing at extremities, the lower board with cloth a little discoloured to border, edges roughtrimmed and faintly toned, a smattering of spots to endpapers, the flyleaf with contemporary ownership inscription ('Walter B Kahn, November 1916, Cambridge Mass.'), very good. The first state - identified by readings on pp. 88 & 93, subsequently corrected. A bright copy of this early work by Frost, containing some of his best-known poems. (Crane A4).
