Illustrated in black and white, reproducing the front panel and spine of the dust jacket for the first edition of *Gravity's Rainbow*. Small inked note in top left corner. Folded three times, almost certainly as issued, with a few small tears at the folds, tiny nicks at one edge, else near fine. An extremely scarce broadside, printed upon the release of Thomas Pynchon's *Gravity's Rainbow,* issued to promote the positive reception to the 1973, by The Viking Press . The broadside prints excerpts from eleven glowing reviews of *Gravity's Rainbow*, printing long blurbs by Geoffrey Wolff ("Gravity's Rainbow will be compared with Ulysses."), R. Poirier ("At thirty-six, Pynchon has established himself as a novelist of major historical importance."), Library Journal [i.e. Bruce Allen]: "The most important work of fiction yet produced by any living writer.", and many more.
