Rendezvous with Rama is a science fiction novel by British writer Arthur C. Clarke first published in 1973. The story is set in the 2130s and depicts the investigation of an interstellar spacecraft, dubbed Rama, by a group of human explorers. This book is known for its exploration of the theme of first contact and won both the Hugo and Nebula Awards for Best Novel.
