Publisher's black cloth-effect paper over boards, titled in silver, in 'flame' design dust-wrapper by Kenneth Lewis priced at 10/6 to both front and rear flaps. An association copy, formerly belonging to Sefton Delmer, a fellow intelligence agent, journalist colleague and close friend of Ian Fleming. Delmer bookplate (Valley Farm) to pastedown, with lot slip and provenance label inserted. Toning to page edges, jacket with a some nicks and tears, some soiling to rear, spine browned. Overall a very good used copy, housed in a custom-made black cloth clamshell box. A significant association. Provenance: Tom Sefton Delmer OBE (1904-79), journalist and wartime propagandist for P.W.E. The young reporters Delmer and Fleming met in Moscow in the 'thirties and they would soon work closely together in Naval…
