Dust jacket has edge wear along the spine ends and top with two small chips, along with two small holes, one on the front and one on the spine. Spine has rubbing but no toning or fading. The back has a 1-inch pen mark. Price shows $3.50. Dust jacket is in a new protective Brodart cover. Boards have little to no wear. Board corners are sharp and square. Spine is tight. Pages are clean and crisp. Signed by Ludwig Bemelmans on the half-title page. No other writing. Minor soiling on a couple of pages. The sixth book in the Madeline series.
