Publisher's original red cloth, gilt and black stamped spine, front and back covers stamped in black, pale yellow end papers. Color fold out map as frontispiece, additional map on page 27. Scott 4 : Whatmore F3. London: Cassell and Company (1885), 320 pages + 16 page catalog. A very nice looking nearly fine copy with slight forward lean, bumped front corners, and a touch of sunning to spine, top edge is darkened and with a soil spot. Fold out map has a 3" tear that has been professionally repaired.
