First edition, first printing. Published by Walker in London, 1989. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper, carrying its Helen Oxenbury illustrations, is highly presentable. That being said, there are two closed tears to the front and rear panels and foxing throughout. It has been neatly price clipped. These closed tears have been repaired with tape on the interior. The terracotta boards are slightly bumped at the corners and the original publisher's barcode sticker is present on the rear of the front flap. The internals are clean and free from previous owners ink. Overall, this is a very good (or better) copy. "We're going on a bear hunt. We're going to catch a big one.".
