This copy has a full-page inscription by Thompson, "To Tony-Happy Birthday & thanx for the whiskey...see you in Idaho Springs. Be careful, yr. friend H. S. Thompson. San Francisco, July 19, 84." The book is housed in an attractive black cloth clamshell box with a morocco spine label made by Dragonfly Bindery.
