This book is in very good condition. Minor surface wear to the extremities. Both hinges are cracked. The pastedowns are lightly foxed. Previous owner's signature on the front endpaper. Page 7-8 is loose and damaged. The rest of the textblock is clean and well preserved. Originally written by French author Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera is partially inspired by historical events at the Paris Opera during the nineteenth century.
