First edition, first print paperback. Signed by the author to the dedication page in black pen. The book was signed by JK Rowling for a group of Year 6 pupils from Millfield Preparatory School in Glastonbury who were taken by the school librarian to meet the author at Waterstone's in Wells, Somerset, in spring 1999. The book is in very good condition, with un-creased covers and just the lightest of creases (barely visible) to the spine. Internally unmarked; short 4mm tear to margin of one page, not affecting text. Text block clean and unmarked, toning to top edge of text block. Spine is sunned, as is a band down the length of the spine on the front panel and, less visibly, a thin strip on the rear panel in the same location. A very good copy.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is the second book in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series. The book centers around Harry's second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and his quest to uncover the mystery surrounding the Chamber of Secrets.
