A Very Good, black front board with white lettering and white ornate design on front board, white rear board and brown cloth spine, binding intact, spine buckram starting to separate from backing material, fraying to spine edges, rubbing along board edges, some handling/scuffing to boards, bumped bottom board corners, removed bookplate abrasion front free endpaper (original bookplate laid in), mild scattered foxing to pastedowns and endpapers, text block edges a bit pulpy, some offsetting on verso woodcut pages, some age toning to pages, 1941 original sales receipt also laid in, offsetting rear free endpaper and rear pastedown, dent top rear board edge, original acetate jacket present.
