New York: Harper & Brothers, (1959). First edition of his first book. Basis for what many consider to be the best movie ever made about pool, starring Paul Newman as "Fast Eddie" and Jackie Gleason as "Minnesota Fats." Very good to near fine with boards slightly toned and mild rubbing to spine gilt; in near fine dust jacket with shadows on verso not visible from the front (presumably from an old jacket protector) but only minor wear. Increasingly scarce, especially in this nice condition.
