Cloth in pictorial dust wrapper, which is darkened on the verso and has some loss to the head of the spine and a couple of short tears. Illustrated title page; jacket and illustrations throughout by John Minton. This is the 2nd impression of the Macdonald edition. Macdonald took over publication from John Lehmann in 1958 (Lehmann having published the first edition in 1951), but this is the same jacket design as that original edition. . Very Good. Cloth.
