The publication billed itself as devoted to "exploring the limits of free expression." This issue has an article by King ("The Dreaded X") about his film, Maximum Overdrive, which was threatened with an X rating. That essay originally appeared in the Castlerock newsletter (vol. 3, no. 1). There is also a section of the anthology with several articles about King, as well as essays on Art Spiegelman's RAW and the musical act 2 Live Crew. There is an interview with Ray Bradbury as well as a couple of short pieces by him that are connected to Fahrenheit 451 (Bonfire and Bright Phoenix).
