Very good in a very good unclipped dust jacket. This is a later issue, a second or later printing. No first edition statement but with the 1952 date on the title page. Missing the front end paper, else volume would be near fine. Considerable wear and rubbing to the dust jacket, sunning to the spine. Chipping at the head of the jacket and the top of the front panel. First Issue DJ with the $3.00 price and code A.F;T.O.D.A.Y.G. at the top of the front flap. No code on rear flap or rear panel. Laid into the book is Christmas greeting card that is signed and inscribed by Anne Frank's father, Otto Frank. Otto was the only surviving member of the Frank family after World War II and the holocaust. He worked diligently to get his daughter's diary published in The Netherlands and later Great Britain and the United States.
