Four volumes complete, full red leather in Georgian style, raised bands ( 6 panels) gilt titles and decorations to spine, decorative gilt borders to both covers, gilt lines on all edges of both covers, and around each turn-in on both covers, all edges gilt and gauffered, marbled eps, engraved portrait of Cervantes as frontis, foldout map of "that part of Spain which contains the Travels of Don Quixote with the Situation of his various Adventures pointed out." Original riband bookmarks present in each volume, but frayed. Scattered light foxing throughout, light surface scratches to covers consonant with the age of the edition, but generally an exceptional set.

About Don Quixote
