Description

This is the 4th impression in 1956 of the 1st Edition of 1954.Bound in red cloth with title and author in bright gilt on the spine. The bottom corners are creased. Spine leans slightly. Top edges have on small spot of discoloration. Age-toned areas on the endpapers. Gift inscription dated "Christmas 1956" on verso of the ffe. There are several dots of foxing in the margins of pp 342-347. Otherwise, the pages are clean and unmarked. Binding is firm. The map is in fine condition in place. The original 3rd. impression dust jacket is in good condition with a darkened spine panel, toning, and several chips with missing paper at the spine ends and corners. The original price "21 S net" is on the front flap. 352 pp. 5.75" x 8.75 " Please see all images.
