The title on the spine is faded. The binding is tight and square. This a Rare First Pirated American edition that was printed in Mexico in 1940 and issued without a Dust Jacket. Tropic of Cancer is a novel by Henry Miller that has been described as "notorious for its candid sexuality" and as responsible for the "free speech that we now take for granted in literature."
