This is the 1775, two volumes in one including Paradise Lost in 12 books and Paradise Regain'd, a Poem, in Four books. Paradise Lost with frontispiece and plates with book 1,2,3,6,9 & 12. Original leather binding with chips to the spine which is cracked. Binding is solid, pages do show foxing and age-toning.

Paradise Lost is an epic poem in blank verse by the 17th-century English poet John Milton. The first version, published in 1667, consisted of ten books with over ten thousand lines of verse.
