In total 47 plates including frontispiece to each album, the majority litohgraphic plates (either tinted or full colour), and folding map illustrating Burton's route. Ex libris Stanley Baldwin with his bookplate to front pastedowns (Fructus Laboris Nostri). Some light rubbing to extremities of spine, some minor signs of damp to boards, contents clean and unmarked save for some light occasional spotting, generally a very good set. First published in 1855-56, this the memorial edition, created by Isabel Burton in honour of her husband's expansive work and extended oeuvre.
