Collection of two stories which first appeared in "The New Yorker." Stated first edition. No writing, marks, underlining, or bookplates. Spine is tight and crisp. Boards are flat and true, and the corners are square. Dust jacket is price-clipped with some very minor wear along the top and bottom edges of the spine and a small (1/2") fold imprint along the bottom front cover. There is also a very light water mark (but no puckering) along the upper left side of the front of the jacket and along the upper right side of the back of the jacket. The jacket is in "very good" condition for these reasons but has no fading. Spine remains a clear, crisp green. This highly collectible, fine, first edition/first printing copy is protected with an archival mylar dust jacket cover. Satisfaction guaranteed!.
