The first owner, a young girl, got the book signed at Waterstones in Newcastle on 10th July 2000, two days after the launch date, when the author was doing a whistle-stop tour of the country on the Hogwarts Express. Together with a set of promotional puzzle blocks, dated with the publication date of 8th July 2000. These are unopened and were bought from W H Smith's on the same day. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth novel in the Harry Potter series, written by J.K. Rowling. It follows Harry Potter, a young wizard in his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, as he is chosen by the Goblet of Fire to compete in the Triwizard Tournament, a hazardous competition between three rival schools of magic.
