Very Good+ with slightly rubbed and toned wraps, slight curve to bottom corner, concave spine creased with a little chipping at ends, occasional foxing to text. Nice condition overall. The classic French play in verse about a multi-talented nobleman whose huge schnoz is the only thing standing in the way of his finding love-- namely the love of Roxane. He finds a hunk to be his proxy but things don't go smoothly. The basis of many stage and screen adaptations including the 1987 Steve Martin film Roxanne.

Cyrano de Bergerac is a play written in 1897 by Edmond Rostand. Although there was a real Cyrano de Bergerac, the play is a fictionalized account of his life and incorporates larger-than-life elements. It explores themes of inner versus outer beauty, love, and heroism.
