Includes the publisher's first state dust jacket, £10.99 retail price on front flap, a fine example. This work is the first state of the first issue, with "Copyright Joanne Rowling 1999" on the copyright page and the text block on [7] misaligned. (Errington A7(a)) A beautiful example, scarce in this condition. The second and third states of the first printing corrected the copyright imprint to "Copyright @ J.K. Rowling 1999," and corrects the text block misalignment.
