Original boards with ornate gilt spines show some wear and rubbing. Bindings very good, hinges show some starting but holding well. Spines executed in seven compartments with gilt decorations and lettering on red labels. Contents excellent with only some light toning to a few pages and the usual offsetting of the plates. A lovely 18th century set of Milton's masterpiece in a contemporary binding. Size: Folio.
