Titles are blocked in gilt to the spine, reading: "NOSTROMO/A TALE/ OF THE/SEABOARD /JOSEPH CONRAD/HARPER'S. A scarce, very presentable copy of the First English Edition, First Printing, with page 187 misprinted as p. 871, 1904 on the title page, the last page correctly numbered as p. 480, and the spine printed with the title, author name and "Harper's" publisher's name. Print run for this edition was 2000. copies, with a penciled note "probably 14 October, 1904" to ffep. Earlier serialized in the UK in "T.P.'s Weekly" Jan. 29-Oct. 27, 1904, according to Supino.
