Mr. Simak signed and inscribed this book at my request at a Worldcon.This is by far the most difficult First Edition of the HUGO winners to find and SIGNED copies even more difficult. Shelf 1044. Bright clean and tight. Dust Jacket in excellent FINE condition with no marks, no stickers, no stamps with a quarter inch closed tear on front cover. Book is Very Good, bright clean and tight, with "Surplus, Library of Congress Duplicate" on FFEP, Air Force and Air Force Library Service Center stamped name once each. Three inch by eighth of inch blue mark on half title page.Both end boards have glue residue hidden under DJ flaps. FFEP has rough surface of one and a half inches where it appears sticker removed.The FREP has had a sticker removed leaving a rough surface about four inches.The book & DJ are bright, square, clean tight. Not a book club (BC)copy. Not a remainder.
