Description

Lightly read book, slight lean, blue/gray boards and gold spine lettering on black background, strong hinges and solid page block, square corners, glue and paper removal marks on inside boards (see photos), also stamped "Fort Dodge Book Shop" to inside bottom of front board, first edition stated with 1940 date on title page and copyright page. Unclipped dustjacket (priced at $2.50), jacket not first state as it has reviews on the lower spine, but not as late as the "second" state with the youth in front of a building, very light sunning to spine, light edge wear and some soiling, six inch closed tear on jacket front previously fixed with tape which stained the jacket, in mylar protector.
