Near fine first edition of this famous novel by Harris. This is the book that introduced the world to Hannibal Lecter now probably the best movie villian of all time. This copy is signed and dated by the author on the first title page. Book does show some light soiling to the page edges but this does not effect the text. The jacket is not price clipped and shows some very light foxing to the rear panel. The front panel is bright and fresh. A nice collectible copy and hard to find signed.

Red Dragon is a novel by American author Thomas Harris, first published in 1981. It is the first novel to feature the character of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer. The story follows former FBI profiler Will Graham, who comes out of retirement to hunt a serial killer known as the Tooth Fairy. The book is a prequel to Harris's 1988 novel 'The Silence of the Lambs'.
