Clamshell case bound in 3/4 green Morocco cream paper covered boards and green linen inner lining; gold gilt lettering stamped to the spine. Out of the 31 leaves, 27 are illustrations printed from the original plates, with the remaining leaves being comprised of an introduction and publication information. All leaves printed on handmade paper with deckled edges. The engraved plates are composed of 12 hand-coloured plates, 5 maps, 4 head pieces, 4 tail pieces and two title-vignette. This is one of 26 unnumbered copies with one of the original copper plates--the plate in question with this copy is plate XI which depicts a scene with "a dozen apples, each as large as a Bristol barrel, come tumbling about his ears".
