Number 34 of 100 numbered copies, signed by the author on the limitation page. Introduction by Karl Shapiro. Book has some rubbing and wear to the corner edges. First novel from the author was first published in France by Obelisk Press in 1934. The book was banned in the United States until 1961, which included court cases challenging the American Obscenity laws and deeming the novel a work of Art.
