No publishing date but appears circa 1880. Complete set of 24 volumes including Glossary. Brown cloth covers, blind-stamped with black designs and gilt spine titles. Bindings on all volumes are solid, and pages unmarked but a little tanned. Foxing on early pages of nearly all volumes (especially on the tissue page protecting the frontispiece. Pen-and-ink drawings scattered throughout. Cover have a little wear to edges, but otherwise okay, including spine titles.
