First edition. 8vo., original cloth with dust wrapper. Small chip to head and tail of spine of wrapper which is a little darkened, a little light browning to panels, otherwise a very good copy. Posthumously published, this second book of Sylvia Plath's poetry was edited by her husband, Ted Hughes, with some poems dating from the last few week's of Plath's life; this was the work that established Plath's literary reputation and ensured her cult following.
