First Edition/First Printing. FIRST AMERICAN EDITION 1963 stated on copyright page, verso title page. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good-. Original, unclipped jacket shows original price of $3.95. Deep orange boards are unfaded and vibrant, straight and very firm. Binding is tight and firm. Gilt lettering on spine is bright and unfaded. There are several small indentations on rear board and bumping to top and bottom of spine. Light foxing can be seen on top, only, of text-block. A couple of very small patches of light foxing can be seen on both front and rear pastedowns. A small square of sticker residue with a $1 price written neatly in pink marker is on FFEP. Pages are firm, crisp, and perfectly straight. Text is bright, clean, and completely clear. There is foxing on inside of dust jacket, which is not visible while jacket is on book. A roughly five-inch-long, one-inch-wide water stain is on rear jacket. Rear jacket has a few small, light indentations. There is very light scuffing on dust jacket. Some areas of jacket show a slight wave, presumably from water or moisture exposure. Bottom right-hand corner of front jacket flap has been clipped diagonally. Overall, this is a tight, bright, clean, and attractive copy of the stated first edition! Additional images are available upon request.
