First edition/printing of this classic. Source for the film of the same name. A VERY GOOD+ book that has been re-cased in the original boards. All signatures re-sewn ,new headband; new end papers. Not an ex-lib!( Still have original endpapers, one of which was missing a large piece; hence the restoration!).Original boards show some age soiling and darkening to spine. Some of the top edge stain still remains. New Facsimile jacket! More photos on request.

The Thin Man is a detective novel by Dashiell Hammett, originally published in the December 1933 issue of Redbook. It is the last novel Hammett completed and features the characters Nick and Nora Charles, who would later become widely recognized through the series of films made from the book.
