THE DREAM DAYS contains Grahame's most famous work outside THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS: the short story "The Reluctant Dragon," an alternate version of the classic St. George and the dragon story which paved the way for 20th-century English fantasies depicting dragons as friendly, rather than hostile.
