Each with two bookplates of Charles Cobb Walker, one to front paste-down, second to first blank, with Walker's name in ink above, and a circular embossed stamp of the New England Conservatory of Music to the title-page of each. The volumes overall clean throughout and the bindings tight, except the frontis and title-page in volume one have detached and remain loosely laid-in (Happy to have this re-inserted, or leave it as is.) The title-page of volume11 with a short 2 cm tear at the fore-edge. Bound by Zaehnsdorf for A. C. McClurg & Co., in full smooth green calf, with gilt stamped floral devices to front and rear the board corners, spine labels in two shades or maroon, gilt lettered and with matching floral devices to the compartments. Spines faded and a little scuffed and nicked but overall still an attractive and very good set.
