Reflections on Revolution in France being The Eighth Edition. 364pp. Bound in with Thomas Paine's Rights of Man : Being an answer to Mr Burke's attack on the French Revolution. Fourth Edition, 1791, printed for J.S.Jordan. 171pp. Rebound in maroon half-calf over marbled boards. Raised bands on spine with gilt decorations and title in gilt on black label. Very good condition with wear to head and tail of spine and bumping to corners of the boards. Ex-Libris bookplate of George Drewry Squibb an English lawyer, herald and antiquary. The end papers and title page of Reflections on Revolution are marked with scattered foxing but otherwise the pages are generally in very good condition. Previous owners name in ink to title page of Reflections on Revolution. Small triangular piece of the pages have been cut out from pages 269 - 272. Note that the pages are more tanned than they appear in the photos.
