First American edition [the first to be printed in America], states "Second Edition" on copyright page; preceded by the British first edition published the previous year, which also saw a first edition, second issue [for American publication] which was published by Holt utilizing British sheets with a cancelled title page dated 1914 but likely published in 1915. Bound in publisher's original dark gray-blue cloth lettered in gilt. Near Fine with light fading and toning to cloth at spine and edges, light wear at extremities, offsetting at endsheets. In a Near Fine unclipped heavy wove paper gray-brown dust jacket with light chipping to head, minor toning to spine and light wear to extremities. A lovely copy of Frost's New England themed poetry collection, scarce in the jacket. Crane A3.2.
