Gilt tooling to the leather surrounding the paste-downs and gilt spine lettering.Signed binding by Pfister. The original green cloth covers are present and have been bound into the rear of volume 2. These match binding (6) described on page 119 of Clark, a two-parts-in-one printing. New endpapers. Half-title page present in both parts. Spines are somewhat sun-toned.
