Published in New York by Random House in 1945. First Printing is stated on top of copyright page. Book very good, lightly bumped ends of spine and corners, some discoloration on paste-downs and free endpapers, and some rubbing on bottom edges of both covers. DJ very good, price-clipped, chipping at ends of spine and corners, piece missing from top edge of rear panel and bottom edge of front panel, 1" tear on top edge of front panel near spine hinge, rubbing on front, and soiling on rear. Book comes in specially made cloth slipcase.

The Glass Menagerie is a memory play by Tennessee Williams that premiered in 1944 and catapulted Williams from obscurity to fame. It is one of his most well-known works and considered a classic of the 20th-century theater.
