'Adventures' features the misprint 'Violent Hunter' for 'Violet Hunter' p.317. Each volume with numerous in-text engravings by Paget, and a full-page frontispiece to 'Memoirs'. Publisher's cyan and navy cloth, respectively, with gilt and black titles to spines and uppers. All edges gilt, with patterned endpapers. Inside paper joints cracked as often found, otherwise both volumes internally clean. Moderate general wear to cloth, with some marks and spots also to upper board of 'Adventures'. Very good.
