Hardback, size 9.5 x 6.5 inches. In light green cloth covers with gilt lettering and brown pictorial designs to spine and front. Pictorial endpapers. Top edges gilt. WITH RARE ORIGINAL Cream Dustwrapper & Publishers matching hard card slipcase. In very good condition. Nice bright copy. A few very faint hardly noticeable marks on front board, with some very faint lightening. (DW Slightly tanned spine, with slight loss head of spine, small mark lower front corner, In protective cover.) Original slipcase a little rubbed & tanned, card head and tail edge replaced. Front endpaper has small nick on fore edge, and small mark on opposite fore edge. Small price label on first blank page, which has lightly offset to opposite page. Inside pages are a little rough cut in places, else plates all very clean, bright and tight throughout. A couple of minor spots to page edges. Else a very clean and tight copy. 199pp. With 16 mounted colour plates by A. E. Jackson + decorative B&W head & tailpieces.
