Description

HARDBACK - A very good or better book bound in the publishers blue cloth boards with silver lettering to the spine. There is very light bumping to the spine tip, but with sharp corners. There is some spotting to the top page block with a couple of foxing spots to the front end-paper. The inner text is very clean indeed, free of any foxing or finger marks. There is a small name and 1960 date present to the front end-paper, also a small book seller's label to the base of the front paste-down. The dust wrapper is also in very good or slightly better condition with light wear to the spine tip, also to the corners of the front and rear flap folds. There is toning to the white portion of the spine, with a faint mark to the rear panel.Light foxing to the extremities of the front and rear flap corners, else a clean example with virtually no loss, and with the publisher's printed price of 9s.6d.net present to the front flap. An attractive copy of the seventh and final Narnia novel. Winner of the Carnegie Medal for children's literature.
