Very Good, rubbed and grubby cloth, bumped boards, offsetting to endpapers, hinges cracked but holding and a little overopened in places, a few reading smudges, ink number written on prelims "735," tiny corner chips to pages 1 and 7. The classic alien invasion novel that inspired Orson Welles' famous radio broadcast in 1938 as well as films and other adaptations.
