The dust wrapper, illustrated by Cliff Wright, is bright and clean, with some very slight wear at the corners and typical crumpling to the top and tail edges. It has not been price clipped and shows the original £10.99 price. There is a small but neat previous owners inscription to the rear of the front flyleaf, in grey ink. The full title page has ghosted to the flyleaf, as typical with this volume. The authors signature is present on the dedication page, without inscription, and in blue ink. The pictorial boards are tight at the spine and with only slight bumping to the bottom of the spine. This copy is clean internally, aside from the two aforementioned inscriptions.
