Bumping and wear to corners of board, rubbing to ends of darkened spine and small lean to the binding. Light chipping to edges of leaves and very occasional spots, though quite clean. This copy belonged to the author Charles Langbridge Morgan, with his bookplate (designed by Lee Elliott) over previous owner's details in ink. Signed 'Amherst 1926' by Frost.
