Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, JK Rowling, first US edition, first print, Arthur A. Levine Books, Scholastic Press, 1999. JK Rowling signed Scholastic bookplate. Book is square and firm, with no lean. No writing or scribbles inside the book, totally clean inside. Bookplate is affixed to the front free endpaper. Corners are sharp, boards are clean; spine tip still firm, spine foot lightly rolled. Lightest of bumps on lower edge of one board. Jacket is not price-clipped, no tears, whole. Damp stain with light colour bleeding to foot of spine. A very good copy. Provenance: purchased by me from from The Harry Potter Specialist.
