This set is scarce since it does not only contain all of the Subterranean Press books as a same number set, but also features the two early Meisha Merlin books with the same number. George RR Martin has been hailed as the American Tolkien. His major contribution to the fantasy genre is to introduce adult themes into the craft and making fantasy mainstream. The famous HBO television adaptation has certainly helped achieve this. The books have been on the bestseller lists around the world ever since the launch of the TV-show in 2007.
