Published by Secker & Warburg, 1980. First edition, first printing signed by the author on the title page. The book is tight, clean and unread, with a hint of a slant to the lower edge of the spine. Perhaps the rarest of all J M Coetzee s books to find. The dust jacket is faded, as is common, with an unobtrusive mark across the front. J M Coetzee was instrumental in establishing Oak Tree Fine Press and has generously signed many books to assist our efforts. The provenance of the signature is thus guaranteed.
